Ladies and Gentlemen, Our Resort Health Touristic Foundation of Lenti has the honour of inviting you to the Flowers and Gardens – Fairy Garden festival implemented in the framework of the Cooperation Program Interreg V-A Slovenia-Hungary project titled Cross-border tourism network, the establishment of a region of tiny wonders by developing offers outside the tourist centres (GardEN SI-HU 163). Date: 11th November, 2018 Program: 10.00 – Greetings of László Horváth, mayor of Lenti Town 10.00 – 10.30 Gyula Kovács, the dreamer of Fairy Gardens Only we, the Hungarians of the Carpathian basin know the fairies, or perhaps we only knew them, because as we slowly forget our tales, so many thousands of wonders of our heritage disappear. Only fragments remained to this day, but even this has the wealth that a man of today cannot imagine. ” Gyula Kovács shares some of these fragments with us in the fields of fruit, gastronomy and folk medicine. 10.30 – 11.00 Performance of József Szarvas artist about the Fairy garden of Viszák, recitation 11.00 – 11.25 – Lecture of Cecília Szalay (Szalay Ornamental Tree Nursery) Green City – Let’s think in Green! 11.25 – 11.Jasmina Passero Sotošek, Posestvo Passero, Tešanovci – introduction of the Passero Chocolate manufactory with tasting (elderberry, buckwheat and many more special chocolates). 11-35 – 12.30 Lecture of the communities having Fairy garden Then informal conversation, exchange of views. 12.330 – 13.30 Lunch – for the participants of the workshop 13.30 – 16.00 – Playhouse 14.00 – 15.00 – Csádé band 15.00 – 16.00 The performance of the Kerka Dance Ensemble and the dance house. Exhibition and market of the local producers all day.
